Berge Bulk successfully implements SERTICA
Starting out with 12 vessels in 2007, Berge Bulk has more than tripled the size of its original fleet, now operating and managing over 40 safe and fuel-efficient vessels. Today, a full SERTICA product suite is in use on 34 of the 40 vessels. This includes SERTICA Maintenance, SERTICA Fleet Management, SERTICA HSQE, Sertica Procurement and SERTICA Invoice Management & Workflow. In addition, an interface to the financial system is implemented.
A short and precise project plan enabled a quick and successful implementation of SERTICA. Amy Wahab, IT Manager at Berge Bulk says, “We chose SERTICA because we trusted Logimatic to make a timely implementation. The system was selected from amongst the best on the market and its flexibility and simplicity were key considerations in our decision-making.” She adds, “We are satisfied with the implementation and already experience how SERTICA has eliminated much paperwork and manual work for us. Trusting the system is key to Berge Bulk. Before implementing SERTICA, many different systems were used, including homemade systems in Excel. “Berge Bulk decided to implement the entire SERTICA product suite, and today they benefit from having one system supporting most work processes,” says Ulrich Kærgaard, Senior Consultant at Logimatic.
