Green and energy efficient biomass power plants implements SERTICA Maintenance

Logimatic signs agreement with BWSC to deliver SERTICA to Tilbury Green Power Ltd and Cramlington Biomass Power Plant in England.

The Cramlington plant will be the first reheat biomass plant in the UK, and is expected to reduce CO2 savings by 56,000 tonnes annually compared to a gas-fired power plant. The Tilbury Green Power Ltd. biomass plant is located close to London, and will therefore help in reducing the amount of waste in the city. Once constructed, both plants will be fuelled with clean recycled waste wood and BWSC will manage operation and maintenance.

The SERTICA Maintenance system will ensure optimal maintenance at both plants. This includes systematically planning, which will result in reduced breakdowns, less spare parts on stock and thereby budget savings.

The Tilbury plant is expected to be operational in July 2017 and Cramlington in January 2018.
